The Future of Ice

As part of the exhibition New Sites, New Fields, at the Leitrim Sculpture Centre, a replica of the timber launchpad used for the public launch was installed along with another 1000 litres of frozen Glenade lake water.
Over three weeks the solid block of ice gradually melted. Melt-water was siphoned off and collected for eventual return to the lake after the exhibition.
